    Man the Tables Have Turned.........

    Going into Marquez/Pac 3, I was expecting a blowout by Pacman. I was thinking 8th round KO/stoppage.

Marquez came to fight, but I thought Manny won a 115-113 decision. I felt it was a just win.

I'm really starting to think all this hate on Pacman is more to do with the Mayweather fight not being made, as opposed to anything Marquez did.

Marquez looked WAY better than expected, granted.

But that being said, this fight should have never taken place in the first place.

Everyone knows the fight that fight fans wanna' see.

And for whatever reason, Top Rank/Team Pacquiao don't wanna' make it happen.

Manny/Top Rank deserve flack for this, yes.

But to say that Marquez "clearly" won that fight, IMO, is just wrong.

And if you know me, and follow my posts, you know I'm FAR from a Pacquiao supporter.

I just don't feel although the hate is just here.

Hate Manny for the RIGHT reasons. I.E. The Mayweather fight not happening.

And don't hand me that, "I fight who my promoter tells me to fight nonsense."

All Manny has to do is sign.

As a Pacquiao fan the only reason I'm disappointed by Sat performance is that Manny didn't dominate...thus leading to Pacquiao vs Marquez IV.

I felt Manny won 115-113, but with the criticism Manny is facing, combined with how competitive Manny is as a fighter (pride wise).....you can pretty much kiss Manny vs Floyd in the spring goodbye.

Your right, that fight shouldn't have taken place and I really wish Pacquiao would move on as he will never defeat Marquez decisively.

          Dude come on.

If you've been following boxing for as long as I have, you KNOW for a fact, that Bob Arum DOES NOT want to do business with Floyd Mayweather.

Floyd dumped his ass, and went on to make 10x the money he would have made with Arum, and it BURNS Arum's ass to THIS DAY.

Not to mention, I'm pretty sure Team Pacquiao isn't too keen on the Mayweather fight themselves, like I said since day one of the negotiations.

Couple those two things together, and this fight doesn't get made.

And trust me, with Floyd's legal fees, and notorious ******** habits, he wants, and NEEDS the Pac fight.

Team Pac just doesn't want none.

They don't want the gravy train to end, once Pac gets exposed.

Because mark my words: That's exactly what would happen.

I'd bet on even if Pac dominated JMM last saturday, we still won't see Pac-Floyd.

Too few people realize it's scumbag Arum holding up the fight.

              EXACTLY.

He'll never beat Marquez DECISIVELY, but he'll always beat him. And what's sad about that, is that there's tons of Mexicans and Pac supporters who will continue to support these fights.

But hey, to be perfectly honest, I figured Marquez would have rolled over like everyone since the Cotto fight.

He didn't do that, he came to FIGHT. And for that, Marquez deserves a TON of respect from boxing fans WORLD WIDE.

Marquez is everything a FIGHTER should be.

I could fight Marquez on his front lawn at 6am, and he'd still bring the same fight he always does.

I figured he could be bought, prior to the fight. But that WAS NOT the case.

And he probably gave Arum, Roach, etc. heart attacks in the process.

              MARQUEZ WOULD NOT LAY DOWN.

And for that, he deserves a TON of respect.

Anyone who's been following the sport for the past five to ten years knows this. People claimed Floyd "ducked" Margarito.

                  PLEASE.

He took the Baldomir fight for exactly ONE more dollar than he got offered for the Margarito fight. (IIRC, it could have been the Judah fight.)

Just to stick to Uncle Bob.

And for all Floyd's faults, I say kudos to him for that.

                  **** BOB ARUM.

                  Taking 27% of Pac's earnings?

                  WTF is THAT?

If Pac wasn't an illiterate ******, he could open his own promotion company, promote his own fights, and make 3-4x the amount of money he's making now.

Heck, even Khan promotes his own fights.

How Manny can be this ****** is beyond me.

He really is a modern-day Mike Tyson.

Only difference is, he's not American, and he's not a HW.

All other factors aside, he knows NOTHING other than to fight.

Which is a shame, because he's going to lose EVERYTHING if he doesn't take better care of his finances.

Me too. I already had tons for him to begin with, but the fact that he didn't just go to fight to collect a check, gives me MAD RESPECT for him.

Because at 38 years old, a $5million payday could set u up for retirement. Even AFTER taxes, promoters, trainers, etc.

He could have called it a day, and rode off into the sunset.

But NOPE. He came to fight, and showed that MEXICAN PRIDE.

Which is why I love Mexican boxers.

                    Because they are FIGHTERS.

                    They live to FIGHT.

For me, Jorge Arce is one of the best boxers around.

He always fights the toughest opposition, and comes to fight, EVERY TIME AROUND.

I wish more boxers had this mentality.

Boxing wouldn't be in such a sad state.

There is no VALID reason why Floyd/Pacman hasn't happened yet, or will it happen the future.

                    IT'S ALL ABOUT GREED.
