Nah man HEAPS of people know even more so now that its been so translucent. The problem is Manny doesn't have the balls to stand up to Arum, this has been stressed by Ariza and Roach who said Manny has to press the issue.

I've been telling people for ages that Arum is trying incredibly hard to protect Pac.. and yes he chose Marquez because he thought Pac would run through him, there's a reason why they declined to rematch Marquez and in Pac's own words said "Business is over with Marquez" and just happen to want him this year. That backfired and Arum's in a huge pickle especially with Marquez making those hilarious claims.

        Marquez won? How?

        No Mayweather fight? Why?

Arum IS hurting boxing, and BOXERS. No doubt.

Pac IS a puppet, because he's extremely uneducated.

All the way around, this is the general perception of boxing fans right now, and it ISN'T A GOOD ONE. BAD FOR THE SPORT.

          -It's subjective

-Pacquiao will get dominated and will lose a 12 round UD, It will be very anti-climatic. Pacquiao fans will literally make dozens of excuses "he back peddled " "didn't stand toe-toe" "cramps" "giving blood made him weak" etc. Mayweather fans will troll their hearts out. Pacquiao will retire a fight or two after his schooling. Mayweather (considering himself a GOD at this point) will be x10 the ego Maniac he currently is. He'll probably fight once or twice then he'll retire. People will bitch and complain about the boring ass match for years and years. Most casual Fans will leave the sport and we will have Donaire, Bradly or Khan as top P4P's

-Arum is +80 and still as greedy as ever.

Been saying it a while that Pac's a puppet to Arum. A factor that no one but Manny can do anything about.

Doesn't matter if Pac would get dominated for 12 rounds. It's still an important fight that has to happen. There is no more important fight. Unless there's a robbery or controversy I don't think fans would complain about the fight, and even if it's one sided I doubt it would be boring. Just my opinion.

I'm really starting to think all this hate on Pacman is more to do with the Mayweather fight not being made, as opposed to anything Marquez did.

Marquez looked WAY better than expected, granted.

But that being said, this fight should have never taken place in the first place.

Everyone knows the fight that fight fans wanna' see.

And for whatever reason, Top Rank/Team Pacquiao don't wanna' make it happen.

Manny/Top Rank deserve flack for this, yes.

But to say that Marquez "clearly" won that fight, IMO, is just wrong.

And if you know me, and follow my posts, you know I'm FAR from a Pacquiao supporter.

I just don't feel although the hate is just here.

Hate Manny for the RIGHT reasons. I.E. The Mayweather fight not happening.

And don't hand me that, "I fight who my promoter tells me to fight nonsense."

All Manny has to do is sign.
I’m not so sure if people are "hating" on Manny as much as they are very disappointed at the outcome of the fight and the implications for the super fight of the century with Floyd Mayweather. Before the Marquez fight “fans” were eagerly gobbling up all of the hype surrounding Manny Pacquiao, it had grown to such a degree that a lot of people just forgot about the real world and started entertaining wild fantasies about Manny and what he was capable of doing.

As for me, I saw some time ago that, the Pacquiao phenomena had all of the earmarks of being a massive, promoter driven bubble that would explode given the right set of circumstances. Even now Pac fans are doing everything in their power to reconstruct the bubble so they can climb back into it and rest as comfortable as the “Lotus Eaters” in the "Iliad and the Odyssey." People who were content to live on dreams and shunned the real world, that’s what Pacquiao fans remind me of as they desperately pick of the pieces of their shattered god.

Once fight fans saw Manny so vulnerable, the rational ones realized the truth.

You must be kidding me, the only desperate people on here are b.hurt Mexicans. Because Manny "the Mexicutioner" Pacquiao sent their Counterpunching god on his way to retirement. Now Mexican last hope is an american boxer Floyd Mayweather. Must be really embarassing.

Remember, Pacquiao has never looked good against Marquez, but he showed great heart, skill and determination to beat Marquez for the third time.

That's all his fans can ask for.

Marquez may not have a W against Pacquiao, but the reaction to this fight seems to have ruined Pacquiao in a way that no one ever could in the ring.
