Didn't Kirkland call him out? Or did he just do that to call him out but not actually fight him? Thats an interesting match-up.

Unlike Rhodes and Gomez, Cintron is a world class fighter. He doesn't have a lot left, I realize, but he was solidly outboxing Paul Williams just last year.

The dude will be a tough test for Alvarez if he shows up, I'm looking forward to this fight.

I just feel bad for him because the guy he beat is being rewarded a title shot.... but that's the WBC

Yea, I had gomez winning too before the stoppage.
I think Gomez is a good fighter... and was surprised he got a shot at Canelo. He's pretty good at fighting at different weights too (takes whatever he can between WW and MW).
I mean, I know Canelo can be good.. but he still has to prove himself. So far this year he fought a WW for his belt, a WW for a defense and Rhodes...

Or we could be looking at a replay of Cintron/Molina where Cintron gets completely embarrassed and totally outboxed by his opponent.

I don't think Cintron has anything left. This will probably end similar to how Margarito ended it.

Of course, but that's boxing, and Kermit's one of the most unpredictable guys around. He's been written off before only to shock us, so I think we'd be crazy to count him out against a green fighter like Canelo.
