Comments Thread For: Kermit Cintron Hits Mexico: I Can Knock Saul Alvarez Out!

Nine weeks of hard training in Houston, plus two weeks in Mexico City, are optimal for Puerto Rico's Kermit Cintron, who challenges Saul "Canelo" Alvarez for the junior middleweight championship of the World Boxing Council (WBC). Cintron has arrived early to Mexico City to acclimatise to the conditions of this city.

They better make sure to double the ropes, just in case he jumps out again

Cintron couldn't even put a dent in a his last opponent and won a close fight that he would have probably dominated when he was prime. What power does Cintron have now adays?

Rhodes and Gomez said the same thing.

Kermit might have the firepower. But can he pull the trigger?

You know what'd be tougher? Molina instead of the guy he clowned

Gomez was doing pretty good until he got caught... IMO ref stopped it too soon.

big +++ for Alvarez stepping up his opponents.

Now Chavez needs to step up instead of fighting cans.

He was doing good, he was winning the fight pretty comfortably but I think Gomez being the smaller fighter cost him the fight. When you look at Alvarez resume, what do you see? I see midgets and fighters past their primes.
