It nice to see all the ban-wagoners leave- true fans stick to their heroes
I find it funny how all the haters miraculously popped out of no where.
Tough fight with marquez doesn't necessarily means a guaranteed lost against Floyd or the end of the world.
I hope the floyd fights happen- its nice that pacquiao will be the underdog to prove someone is wrong!

Most Pacquiao fans outside of the most irrational and unknowledgable know (even if they don't admit) that Mayweather will likely defeat Pacquiao. After such a tough fight with an old Marquez following all the talk about how Pacquiao is a different fighter and would blow him away it's no surprise this forum has lost a lot of its spunk.
Personally I think this forum is a better read without the massive amount of silly one liners from Pacquiao fans. Trash talk gets old.
Hasn't this happened to almost every boxer ever? For any favorite fighter any of us have had, we have all had to check ourselves when our guy received a questonable decision, has an off-night, or runs into someone who is just as good as them.
I had to rationalize Chavez vs Whitaker robbery for a long time. I could barely listen to the decision and when it was read as a draw....I felt relieved his record was preserved, but ashamed at the same time. This ish happens.
Far as Floyd/Pac, although it might take some convincing for people to believe Pacquiao can win this...I don't see why it still isn't a toss-up. Pacquiao will be the underdog, that is certain. But, it took JMM two previous fights to even get him to the point where he wasn't getting knocked down against Manny - that experience gave him a lot more chances to adjust and cope with Pac where other fighters sometimes can't do within the 12 rounds of one fight.
This trilogy was almost over in the first round of the first fight. Pac still bring A LOT to the table that is incredibly hard to deal with the first time you get in there with him. It has happened to everyone INCLUDING Marquez the first time. This performance on Sat does raise questions and brings people back to reality - but don't jump off the ship, it's not over.Last edited by LA_2_Vegas; 11-15-2011, 06:52 PM.

I had Manny 115-113 and it's no shame in having a close fight with another HOF fighter. I admit I underestimated JMM and I just realize these guys are just made for each and will always produce close, contorversal bouts like this.
All of the truly great fighters have opponents like that whether it's Ali with Norton/Frazier, Pep with Sandler, or modern day versions with Morales and Barerra producing close fights due to their styles.
Its a part of the game that most chose not to accept.

The general consensus is that JMM won 8 rounds and Manny 4 rounds right?
Yet haters are saying JMM whooped his ass.
Now Manny win 12 rounds against Shane Nosley, and it was a lousy fight? How is it that Manny isnt considered to have whooped his ass?

Props to both PAC and jmm. I haven't seen PAC in a war for years. It's actually entertaining and a good change since pacs's recent fights.
One fight doesn't equal to PAC being a hype job. He and Jmm are top P4P.
