  • Rally Call: Where are all the Pacquiao Fans? One Lousy Fight Don't Mean ****?

Props to marquez for proving everyone, a true ATG

It nice to see all the ban-wagoners leave- true fans stick to their heroes

I find it funny how all the haters miraculously popped out of no where.

Tough fight with marquez doesn't necessarily means a guaranteed lost against Floyd or the end of the world.

I hope the floyd fights happen- its nice that pacquiao will be the underdog to prove someone is wrong!

Pac losses to Floyd but even then that's not the end of the World. Pac is still the man though.

I really don't see the fuss.

I had Manny 115-113 and it's no shame in having a close fight with another HOF fighter. I admit I underestimated JMM and I just realize these guys are just made for each and will always produce close, contorversal bouts like this.

All of the truly great fighters have opponents like that whether it's Ali with Norton/Frazier, Pep with Sandler, or modern day versions with Morales and Barerra producing close fights due to their styles.

Its a part of the game that most chose not to accept.

Too much expectations and downplaying by both sides.

as a pacfan, i used to think he already maxed out at superfeatherweight. whatever success he had at higher weights is already a bonus for me...it was a great ride can't ask for more. if he has to lose to floyd then so be it but it has to happen in the ring. can't be satisfied with fantasy.

Have always been here win or lose. I always pop up the next day to defend or praise the Pacman, whatever needs to be. Been here 7 years now.

I actually don't write off Pac in a Floyd fight but agree with the last sentence. It's like people don't like to acknowledge his brilliance anymore. Maybe because of the Floyd rivalry, maybe because of *******om, maybe because of Arum's snakedom, maybe because he's so acclaimed on a mainstream level.

Fact is, Manny is one of the best fighters of his generation, a tremendous resume, and he's up there with Floyd, RJJ, Hopkins.

The ****ting on him since Saturday has been OTT.

Now, I LOVE Juan but if he's an ATG, it's because he's been elevated due to the Pac fights. And let's not forget, he never blew Pac out. Outboxed him over the 3 fights, yes. But they were all very close.
