Pacquiao and Mayweather is a technical mismatch.

Most Pacquiao fans outside of the most irrational and unknowledgable know (even if they don't admit) that Mayweather will likely defeat Pacquiao. After such a tough fight with an old Marquez following all the talk about how Pacquiao is a different fighter and would blow him away it's no surprise this forum has lost a lot of its spunk.

Personally I think this forum is a better read without the massive amount of silly one liners from Pacquiao fans. Trash talk gets old.

If some of jumping of the wagon, which I have notice, so be it. They aren't true fans anyway.

I hate that this is a sport that has fans who rally behind athletes when they are on top of the world. They lose or look vurnable, then it's a smear campaign to discredit everything they've accomplished.

In ironic fashion Floyd had a great take on this a few years ago in an interview. I'll find it and post it later on.

                Pacquiao beats, Floyd.

                Marquez performance didn't surprise me.

Roach and Pacquiao made a big mistake, they expect Marquez to be more aggressive.

Marquez got his foot work right, Pac got it wrong.

Pacquiao needed to up the pace and circle towards Marquez's left. Pacquiao kept trying to get his left into play but he should works more on the right hook and turning Marquez.

Floyd has a lot of flaws, Pacquiao can exploit, he is not Marquez.

The Marquez rematch is a tougher fight for Pacquiao than Mayweather.

pac won that fight, what people really mean by jmm winning is that he didnt get knocked down again for the 800th time and survived till the end vs one of the greatest fighters who ever lived. i cant w8 for pac to destroy mayweather. he will get an EZ ud or late ko even. my god i am so sure pac will win ill even bet my jersey shore doll collection on it.

On some level, I don't mind it. Sometimes it just shows that people are rational, and not blind worshipers.

Pure fanboys have no place on a forum anyway. If all you're doing is waving the E-Pom-Pon's, then you're probably a horrible debater that types horrendously, coming off as an angry 12 year old.

However there are exceptions to the rule.
