    Yes, he should.

Regardless to if Pac wants Mayweather or not the fact is Bob Arum doesn't and as long as he is his promoter I can't see it happening.

Absolutely, Arum is a low-life and now once again trying to cheat the fans out of the fight we all want! Manny needs to stand up to him and demand the Mayweather fight!

After reading the Fox Sports report where Manny & Freddy are saying they want Mayweather and Arum insisting otherwise, I think Bob is holding them back.

Who knows how long they are under Top Rank contract though, or if they're on a fight to fight basis.. It's become clear that we may never see the fight everyone wants to see do to Arum's personal grudges. It would be a shame if it didn't happen over his petty bullshit.

Well that's true there are too many leaches in his camp as it is.

Top Rank adds nothing to that fight, the real thing Arum provides is structure for Team Manny.

That fight would take place and Manny would bank no matter what, the problem would be the aftermath, a structureless team Manny is a costly proposition and I think that outcome should be avoided even at the price he pays Arum.

Now I guess you could say the leeches will go after Manny anyway so the more money he has to start with the better, but the more say those guys have the worse it would be IMO.

On top of that, taking 26% of Pac's purses isn't protecting him either. It's an outrageous amount of money considering the hundreds of millions of dollars pacquiao is generating.
That is an incredible amount. But obviously Pac thinks Arum is worth it. He's clearly a man of loyalty (where his team are concerned anyway....ahem).

              But it's definitely robbery.

at this point, a pac-arum partnership is becoming disadvantageous to boxing and boxing fans. as a boxing fan that's all that matter to me why i want that partnership to end. bringing up ****s that is happening inside pac's team is ******ed.

He doesn't have to fire him, but he should stick up to him and say he wants the Mayweather fight instead of the Marquez fight. He won't though.

Arum would give Pacquiao his screen play and Pacquiao would happily play his role as long as he was gettin' his paper. I mean, Clottey, Margarito and Mosley on PPV at that? Without Arum those wouldn't have come off as easy. It's obvious both were in on the scheme and I'm glad people are now realizing that it's Pacquiao in the driver's seat.

Truth right there. If he is not happy with the puppetmaster, he would look for another master just like he did Murad Muhammad. He is comfortable with this old fat puppetmaster.
