No. Top Rank is the best promoter out there. They do what is in Pac's best interest

As a fan I say yes.

But I have voted no. Bob Arum does everything in the interest of Pacquiao, to protect him. So from Pacquiao's perspective, no.

Well said, it's not like Pacquiao is an unhappy puppet, he loves having those strings attached.

imo it's damaging his reputation though, so in that regard he's not "protecting" him. A lot of people will turn on pacquiao big time if he doesn't fight floyd next.

On top of that, taking 26% of Pac's purses isn't protecting him either. It's an outrageous amount of money considering the hundreds of millions of dollars pacquiao is generating.

              No he really shouldn't.

Arum might be the only guy on Earth that can keep the Manny circus at least moving forward, without Bob it would become a rudderless ship with a bunch of crazy dim-wits all trying to grab the wheel.

It would be an absolute disaster if he left Arum, he might make more money but it would go out the door at a much faster rate~

Pacquiao said he's going to retire after 2-3 more fights or by 2013 so why would it even matter?

Makes more money AND can fight who he wants. Sounds like a win to me.

It would matter because he would have less money after those two or three fights, even if he makes more even more people will be digging in his pockets so he will be behind where he would be with Arum.

Team Manny is a disaster straight up, the less say those dudes have the better Arum keeps their say to a minimum but without Arum those guys would be running the show and I can't see any way that doesn't end in disaster.

If Manny had a quality team behind him that had his interests at heart, I would be with you but the yahoos he has standing behind him now I would take Arum every time.

So if he fights Mayweather for example, do you think it matters one bit if it's Top Rank invovled in that fight as far as money generated, PPV buys, etc? No way man, that will be the biggest fight of his career with or without arum. Might as well take home more of that money then forking over 26% to arum.

Well that's true there are too many leaches in his camp as it is.
