Mayweather plans to fight on May 5 at the MGM Grand, and negotiations for a Pacquiao fight were set to begin, but now the Filipino superstar and his promotional team, Top Rank, are going to pursue a fourth clash with Marquez instead.

Well Pacfans, you all wanted to hear it......

Come on Pac, stop rolling over for Arum, and take control of your own destiny.

If he does, stop asking Morales if he avaliable, stop saying he will fight in Feb and put in an offer to fight Pacquiao in May.

I doubt Floyd will do this because, he still doesn't want to fight Pacquiao.

        You can ALWAYS fight JMM...
        Exactly !!

And reed, how the hell will this fight enhance Pacquiao's current standing?

Manny will never beat JMM convincingly, because he cannot, end of story.

He needs to fight Mayweather now.

What if Bradley takes him to the wire ?

They need to do this thing now, or forever hold their peace.

That fight is losing luster, they need to cash out now.

I agree with that scenario Pac v Floyd. Looks like Floyd saw something last Sat and now he comes out w/ a big mouth asking for the fight, after ducking for so long. If Pac beats Floyd then a 4th fight w/ Marquez could come next, but if Pac loses he should retire. Mention Martinez to Floyd and he runs like a duck, kwak, kwak, kwak..

Pac could always call their bluff ?

Just like he could have called their " bluff " during the official negotiation.

But oh no, it is easier to just assume that Manny is a hero, and that Mayweather is ducking and dodging, aint it ?

Sad thing is, as a fight fan and moral, God fearing individual Manny Pacquaio is almost impossible not to like. But the clowns around him, along with his new fanbase (who are in the Guiness book of records for the biggest collection of weirdos on planet Earth) and me and a lot of normal people rooting against him. And until very recently, he was my favorite fighter.

3 years later = 2011 = after ANOTHER close fight .... now fight floyd or marquez ... "we'll do marquez right away!"

really?!?!?!? so with all of those easier fights out there, he held off with a marquez fight for years, but with only ONE FIGHT out there that means anything, he'd rather fight marquez right away this time?!?!?!?!
