thats a fact, HBO Contracts fighters what do you think it means when fighters sign a six or seven fight deal? the networks make millions with them fighting on their network and to have the biggest richest fight in history collapse all because of a 38 year old Mexican nightmare, you think HBO is going to let that happen?
Or the Casinos that had Manny a huge betting favorite with thousands of Marquez fans there who bet on Marquez...
Use your ****ing brain, Pro Boxing in America is Big business its not a ****ing sport... its sports entertainment.

I could have sworn this was Bob Arum's idea. Wasn't he talking about the rematch taking place in Mexico in the post fight presser?

JMM needs to demand blood tests
I hope JMM demands more than 50%. I'm glad he wants it in Mexico. I REALLY hope he demands blood tests.
I hope Bob Arum avoids a 4th rematch due to all the demands. If they don't we all know it's because they do not want to fight Mayweather.
JMM is sitting in a VERY VERY VERY good position and he knows it. He makes the calls.... The table has now turned and Pac is the one begging for the fight.
What is Pac going to do, not agree to what ever JMM wants, and fight Mayweather? Don't think so............

He's bright enough to realize that even though Manny's the cash cow, he's the one in the driver's seat. Not only should he insist on the fight being on his turf, he should ask for more than $10 mil guaranteed. $15 mil+ PPV upside sounds about right. This past fight did some monster numbers across the board (9th all time gate in Nevada, most watched Boxing event in Mexico's history, most buys for a Pacquiao fight according to early reports).
They could fill Azteca stadium to capacity in 2 days. If Pac's side says no, JMM can walk away and Top Rank would be forced to parlay with Haymon and co. and if they instead choose to go to some other bull**** like Tim Bradley, the backlash would be epic.
Brilliant.

Does anyone know for how much tickets would go for in the Azteca stadium? Mexico only has a $9k GDP per capita so they can't possibly cost that much. How much money could they possibly make even if the 100k seats are filled?
