I don't think it's Manny not being able to adjust as much as Marquez being abl to adjust with Manny. It seems to me like every time Manny tried to change things up, JMM would have an answer for him. I think in general, Marquez' style is just hard to deal with for Pacquiao, and that causes problems for Pac.

I thought Marquez was going to win but by stoppage for my own reasons, I just think personally its always easier to fight someone taller than someone your own size and I think thats been the case with manny lately.

He has fought a bunch of tall guys back to back that didnt really offer much in return, likely he got used to fights being that way and suddenly found himself in a fight against a guy who didnt have to reach for him a guy who had good footwork and one that had a style to give him fits....

Dont think this means an automatic Floyd victory either styles make fights period. yes Floyd has the tools to do what Marquez did no doubt, but there are other attributes that come into play here if they fight, example do you think Floyds chin can hold up against Manny just as Marquez's was able to?

Thank you...all people are seeing is counter punching and moving to the left, its inaccurate and an insult to Marquez. This is the base for his success, but far from the winning formula, the thing people seem to be missing is the fact that he attacks Pacquiao with combinations, yes the counter right neutralises the attacks, but that alone is not enough to win rounds, Marquez is an unbelievable combination puncher, extremely creative, and he risks getting his head knocked off when he does this, but that's what has given him so much success. Another thing people seem to overlooking is that Marquez is possibly one of the top 3 mexican fighters of all time and pac has never convincingly lost to him either.

Mayweather is a totally different fight, his he willing to put himself in the firing line? Can he take the power? Can he beat Manny in a completely different way? It is possible, I still want to find out, great fighters seem to pull something out the bag when their up against it, Manny is still a great...great fighter and he would certainly be up against it with Floyd.

Freddie didn't give particularly good advice in between rounds. He and Pacman don't think on the spot, the stories written and if it goes off track they don't know between them what to do, other than the same. Freddies condition is partially to blame though to be fair, I think he's increasingly struggling with his speech, it takes him time to say a few things and it's not clear. Plus you have too many other people talking to and faffing about with Manny.

What I did find interesting is Freddies plan was to hold back, counter a bit, be cautious, use speed and angles. This was less effective than Pacman just doing his usual offensive to overwhelm JMM.

But, Freddie in a post fight interview has said Pac just fought the same way as previously which made it close. Rubbish, these new tactics were worse than Pac just going for it offensively. You got it wrong Freddie, and you can't even accept or spot the mistakes.
