So basically what your saying is that as long as you throw punches you win fights right? Doesnt matter if they hit as long as your the champion and you throw more punches while getting countered all night long youll win at least if you with Top Rank. So many Pac fanboys cant admit defeat they claim to be boxing fans yet they cant give the benefit to JMM who proved once and for all he is the better boxer than Pacquiao.

People say Juan Manuel was running lol he was using lateral movement and countering pacquiao beautifully kinda how Pacquiao was doing to Ricky Hatton except when Pac does its called a good night of boxing but for Marquez its called running. Pacquiao couldnt intimidate Marquez and if he wanted to he could have pressed the action "to give the fans a good fight like he always claims his goal is" but he knew that JMM could catch him with a solid punch and he himself was scared to engage. Coming forward and throwing flurries with nothing on them shouldnt win fights period.

This is what happens when Pac faces someone his size and can match his handspeed with timing also someone whos not drained or slow as ****. Mayweather will put on a boxing clinic and retire Pacquiao from boxing.

JMM did a great job. I scored it 114-114 but its time to move on. Pac won and now Pac is fighting Mayweather on May 5th.

It was 4 years for the 1st and 3 years for the 2nd. No need to try and speed things up now. Mayweather should be next in Vegas on May 5th. Pac can fight JMM again AFTER he fights Mayweather.

Exactly, They're two different type of counter-punchers. Marquez is an excellent counter puncher like Maywather but the difference between the two is Marquez knows how to handle Pac which is counter punching him with combinations and being aggressive. If mayweather chooses to counter punch using pot shots, that's not going to do the work. Floyd won't win by throwing 40-45 punches/round, while he has a guy across from him moving around the ring, jumping in and out like the Tasmanian Devil, throwing twice that number of punches. Floyd will have to take risks like Marquez by punching with Pac using combinations.
Is floyd capable, Of course. Only question is... does floyd himself believe it!

Isn't this exactly around this same amount of punches that JMM averaged against Manny per round? Yes, Floyd doesn't fight like JMM, but they do have similarities with their timing and ability to keeping their opponents at range. Floyd would land his punches at a much higher accurate level than JMM did, and he would take fewer punishment in return. Floyd usually throw 35-40 punches round anyways, the difference is that he makes nearly half of them counts unlike JMM.
