I gave Pac the 11 round and the 12 round was Wright Taylor all over again JMM like Wright played it safe but clearly won the round the HBO crew made a big deal out the last round jumping on JMM but Pac didn't go all out either like Taylor but 2 judges still gave Pac the round smh

I have to say something cause so many idiots have been talking so much **** the last 24 hours. yes, in my opinion marquez won, that being said it was a very close fight. A fight where if manny had lost, it would still be a controversial decision. and what freddie said makes sense. he was the challenger, he should have been more offensive down the stretch if he wanted the win. marquez himself said he would need a ko to win the fight in reality i don't think he needs a ko to win that fight, but being a bit more aggressive in a couple rounds would have helped. probably would have made the difference.
also, people think manny is a piece of **** for thinking he won the fight, of course he would say that, and he probably thinks it too. fighters always say that, they even say it when the fight isn't even close. like is said, i think marquez won, but at the end of the day, there has been way worst decisions over the past years. ex., martinez/cintron, williams/lara, etc..

I agree with much of that. Marquez didn't go out there and take it. He coasted thinking he did. I'm not saying Marquez had to inject xylocaine into his fists and throw 2 cheap shots while the opponent isn't looking, but he had to do more than just coasting to a supposed win against the champion.

Or maybe Roach is trying to convince Mayweather to finally fight Pacquiao. Damn still no word on that. Roach needs to try better.

I gave the last two rounds to Pac and that's why I have him up by 2.

Marquez played it safe in the 12th because he thought he had it in the bag.

Pac was the aggressor in the 12th and landed more.

Funny people keep delving up De La Hoya-Trinidad, as the fight which is most relevant is De La Hoya-Sturm

I actually agree with Roach. I don't score fights while watching them live. But, I felt the fight was hanging in the balance heading into the late rounds and I felt JMM tired and allowed it to slip away. Not saying I thought Pac won. But, I was far from outraged at the decision. People are acting like this was Lara-Williams or something.

BTW, Roach seems to be eating his humble pie quite nicely. Wish the *******s would follow suit.
