Styles make fights, & because Manny had a hard time with Marquez doesn't mean he'll lose to Mayweather. Vernon Forrest beat Mosley, and lost to Mayorga. Mayorga then should've beat De La Hoya since De La Hoya had lost to Mosley and Mayorga beat the guy who beat him.. Things don't work that way in boxing, however!

You're right. Styles make fights. And Mayweather is a bigger, faster, stronger, superior defensively, and a better counterpuncher than JMM. The reaction has nothing to do with a triangle theory. The reaction comes from Pac struggling with a lesser version of what Mayweather would bring.

Manny won the fight but with his performance last night, I do not see him beating Gayweather whoe is a better counter puncher than Marquez. Marquez blew it. It's like a remeniscence off Delahoya VS Trinidada where the corner tells you to that you won the fight and to take it easy...

And a supposed superior version of Marquez is calling for a blood test? Please.

Nacho really did Marquez a disservice. How can a person win when they throw less, land less, and back away all fight? Marquez, and his brother, are whiners. He let the fight slip away---kind of like Clottey did vs Cotto. No one to blame but himself. A 4th battle is in order.

LOL Marquez and Mayweather do not have the same counterpunching style plus Marquez been in the ring with Pacquiao already 24 rounds before this fight. Mayweather still has trouble with FAST SOUTHPAWS no matter what. and Marquez isn't a lesser version of Mayweather.

The trouble Mayweather has had with southpaws have led him to lopsided wins. The trouble Pac has had with counterpunchers has led to getting his butt handed to him on several occassions. Not a good comparison.

Maybe Pac's recent crappy performances were do to him experimenting with not being on the power pellets. I mean, he's been "cramping" in all his fights. Withdrawal???

Exactly, They're two different type of counter-punchers. Marquez is an excellent counter puncher like Maywather but the difference between the two is Marquez knows how to handle Pac which is counter punching him with combinations and being aggressive. If mayweather chooses to counter punch using pot shots, that's not going to do the work. Floyd won't win by throwing 40-45 punches/round, while he has a guy across from him moving around the ring, jumping in and out like the Tasmanian Devil, throwing twice that number of punches. Floyd will have to take risks like Marquez by punching with Pac using combinations.
Is floyd capable, Of course. Only question is... does floyd himself believe it!
