Let's get real over this. Pemberton is a SOLID fighter, nothing more nothing less. I'm sold on Lacy's power, but i'm not sold on his boxing ability. It still remains to be seen what can happen when we see him in with a slick boxer. Kessler is very hard to hit, and technically he's good so I want to see that fight ASAP.

Why is everyone talking about how "young" Lacy is and that he will keep on improving. He's 28 which is when a fighter is usually at there prime. This is as good as Lacy will get, maybe a little better but not much.

I definetly want to see this guy fight more often though. He's very active that's what I love about him.

One thing you guys are forgetting...The Calzaghe of 5 years ago TKO'd Sheika in 5. Lacy struggled down the streth to beat Shieka via UD. Calzaghe of 5 years ago was a force at super middle and he would of definetly beat the Lacy of today. it's just a shame he took no chances.

People say Lacy has no skill and that he is a brawler...

but he is good at what he does and KTFO all his opponents.

Lacy is good, but I wouldnt put him up there yet with the likes of DLH, Shane, Tito, Winky, B-hop, he hasnt faced anyone of championship caliber yet.

Yeah lets not forget the fashion in which he wins fights.

He stopped Ruben Williams who is an underrated fighter in his own right. The only loss Hollywood had was to another monster in Mendoza.

The same Mendoza that Kingsley IkeKe was ducking.

This would be probably my 10th time saying this, but he is ****ing insane. He's like a machine, he just seeks and destroys you. One of the most entertaining fighters in the sport hands down.
I dont see how your aesthetic approval of him as a fighter would not lead you to believe he is legitimate p4p material.

I want to see him fight Kessler. Kessler brings much more to the table then Pemberton does IMO. I picked Kessler to beat Lacy via UD, but this fight has changed everything. Lacy's an animal. I only see a slick counter-puncher beating Lacy, and even at that I think Lacy could probably knock him out whoever that may be.
Right and Kessler's facet in that fight would be his height and reach advantage over Lacy.

Something that I think means absolutely nothing. This guy can not be stopped by a jab.

Having said all that, I still think Calzaghe of a couple years ago would of beaten Lacy.
I think Lacy could beat Calzaghe now, even if Calzaghe was in the absolute peak of his prime.

          Prime Calzaghe v.s. Lacy = Lacy K.O. 2.

          And I'm dead serious.

I am not trying to be fescisious like I normally am. I realize the brits get pissed off when I say that.

No pun intended. We are talking about two different classes of fighters. One sheltered, and one who seeks out tough fights and demolishes his opposition.

The Pemberton fight proved absolutely nothing. We all knew that Lacy has extreme power, but we are left with so many unanswered questions about him. I think Kessler would be in with a big chance against Lacy.

Calzaghe is definately a better boxer than Lacy, but i'm not sure if he would want to be hit by the left hook. If it went to the cards Joe would pick up the win though, and has underrated power himself.

            Prime Calzaghe TKO 5 Lacy.

                  He is something else.

I realize Pemberton might not be in the same leauge as Kessler.....but simply being a tall rangy super middleweight will not cut it against Lacy.

If they fought, I think it would be one sided.

I initially said Lacy would pound out a decision win over Kessler....but now I think he will simply knock him out in the early rounds.

                      Along with Calzaghe.

Joe stands virtually no chance against this monster.

In fact, I think everyone short of Cruiserweight would lose.

                      Tarver, Johnson, Hopkins, Taylor,

all of them. Forgettaboutit. I'm not kidding either.

I absolutely agree with you!!...Tarver wont fight Lacy... none of those people stated can beat lacy..hell some people were saying pemberton will win, lacy finished the job in round 2
