I don't think he's a ducker at all - he's just not ready for the big challenges and although he hasn't admitted it everyone knows he lacks confidence. I mean come on, he has no amateur pedigree and he's just simply wanting to get the experience first. Didn't his father fight bums for his first 40 fights or something before he really started to up his competition when he got the experience?

Give it a few more years and he'll be stepping up his competition. As of now, he better make a move in that direction pronto otherwise it'll be too late.

The WBC claimed that JCC jr gets one voluntary defense of his title then he has to face the "emeritus" champion Martinez.

They said this in July.


They don't wanna cash out in him just yet so expect more delays.

I don't consider him a ducker because to me he is still a nobody with a name. He shouldn't have a title yet, but there isnt all that much competition in his weight division to tell you the truth.
