Is HBO in charge of compubox?

Compu Box is part of their broadcast nobody is directly in charge as it has no bearing on the fight, but its just part of their broadcast... and again its ran by people who likely tend to get excited when they see action, especially if they are watching a fighter they like. we need to do away with that.

Same people discrediting compubox after Mayweather/Ortiz are the ones pumping it for pacquiao...

I agree, Freddy and his strategy was truly awful. He had Pacquiao trying to fight like a boxer when plainly he isn't... He's a fighter who comes forward aggressively, piles on the punches from all angles and overwhelms opponents, or he was that type of fighter. Don't know what the hell he was doing, but all credit to Marquez for scaring Pacquiao's camp into changing Manny's style, no way Manny would ever beat Marquez or any other technical boxer boxing. Marquez does have his number somewhat, but the fact remains Manny knocked him down numerous time previously fighting in his natural manner. If Manny fights his natural fight and isn't hemmed in by trying to box, then its all up for grabs and its a close call, unlike last night.

The compubox recorders counted more punches landed by Pac.
The after fight video showed more damage to Marquez.
But wannabe judges watching the fight on tv claim Marquez won.
