that's why pure boxers usually owns boxer-puncher types.


roach did good in making pac more of a boxer-puncher against much bigger (and slower) guys.

but when pac fights boxer types he need to be more of a workrate/pressure type fighter.

that in and out **** just gives the boxer more chances to time him coming in.

Exactly, had he fought like 1&2 he would have done WAY better. He needs to take Marquez to war to beat him. There's no other way.

part of the problem is , it seemed like roach planned for pac to box jmm.

to copy (somewhat) what floyd did. let jmm lead sometimes and counter , don't give jmm anything to counter , etc.

that's not pac's fight.

pac has many advantages over jmm. technique and boxing skills is not one of them.

they fought jmm's fight in the beginning. got jmm comfortable.

Part of the problem too was that Pac wasn't listening to what Freddie was telling him to do in the corner. Roach kept on telling him to circle right (to JMM's left) and to pick up the pace with more combos. Pac kept on circling left, into JMM's right hand... it was driving me nuts. The few rare times Pac actually went to his own right were the times he made JMM miss IMO.

I'm done with this sport. I feel just like Marquez. I was ecstatic during the first round to see him put on a masterclass, and continue for twelve rounds. Manny looked amateurish, out of control, and insecure in there. Marquez controlled the entirety of the fight and was jobbed, again.

However, it wasn't unexpected.

Pac-Mosley was just as disgusting as the outcome of this fight. They blantantly robbed us with Pac-Mosley and Pac-Marg, which wurrr BS fights; so why would we expect a fair shake in this fight? Pac looked like a ****in dumbas.s puppet at the end of the fight.

Thta is some rubbish discourse that HBO was trying to push at the end of the fight. Marquez was clewrly and comfortably ahead going into the last round. Anything between 5 to 3 rounds up, nothing short of multiple knokdowns for Manny could have justified a win and that is exactly what Nacho was trying to avoid.
