I don't think last night was a sad night for boxing at all. On the contrary, it was a good night for boxing because Manny "Pac Man" Pacquiao was exposed for what he's always been. The very fact that trickeration was called for clearly demonstrates the artificial nature of the Pacquiao phenomenon. All the crap that was being spilled from the idiot mouths of the non-boxing fans about how Marquez was going to get knocked out and the rest. Only someone unfamiliar with the sport could come to such a shallow conclusion.

Top Rank managed to steal a majority decision, but one thing they can't steal back and that's respect.

Boxing has had many black eyes over the years, and despite some pretty rough nights has endured and will endure. Boxing is bigger than Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather, and corruption is an all too familiar blemish, one that boxing will probably always have. One day these guys will be gone and their replacements will be on center stage.

116-114 to Marquez, that is giving Pacquiao the benefit of the doubt (it could have been 117-113). The score card suggest it was close but it is a robbery because the rounds Marquez won were decisive and I cannot see Pacquiao winning an additional 3 or four rounds in that fight.

a fighter who thows 50 punches and connects 25 (50%)vs a fighetr who thows 100 and 40(40%), who wins?...
