All K9 does is hold and wrestle on the inside because he doesn't have much skill there. I think Kirkland would grind and stop him.

This would be among the best next steps for Kirkland because he's a fighter that deserves and needs a worldtitle for a bargaining chip, but K9 in the ring is going to be tough. DK asks for the world.
he should become the mandatory to canelo and force him to give up his belt thus labeling him a coward.

Golden Boy should pounce on this and try to get Kirkland a title in a winnable fight.

they would love to get kirkland a belt. that way canelo and kirkland would each have belts and could do synchronized bum parades while never fighting.

Cant be worse than Canelo. They baby the hell out of that Mexican ginger. A mentally broken Cintron is by far his toughest test to date. It's obvious they are terrified of losing out on some big money because he's so popular.

I actually think he was losing the Gomez fight because he was bored with his opponent. Kid is ready to be tested.

yes he was bored as hell. he tried fighting like mayweather cept he kept getting hit like an idiot. that's what i don't get about boxing. why is alvarez popular? shouldn't the best fighters or the most exciting fighters like kirkland be the most popular? instead its just some random guy who fights tomato cans yet the people and media flock to him like he's ali.

boxing needs to totally redo its structure because its clearly broken. stop with all the manufactured stars and stop with all the mismatches. mismatches=boring crappy fights. competitive fights=excitement, tension, and people will want to tune in. then the winners of those competitive fights will automatically be the most popular just by default. the fighters nowadays think being popular is more important than fighting the best.

Nice... But I'd rather have him facing Lara, or Canelo.

LOL WUT!! K-9's main asset is inside fighting. . . He has those short stubby arms perfect for turning hooks over. . . Check out some more footage of him, and then get back at ya boy!

Thanks ThePhantom5, K9 is one of those titlists we don't hear much from.

Would be a good but short fight. Both guys would swing for the fences but Kirkland would quickly get inside K9's reach and punish him at close range. There's a chance K9 catches Kirkland coming in with a hail mary.
