i guess leverage maybe? There seems to be problems with the split in
money in ortiz-berto rematch.Comment

Good move by HBO for turning down Berto/Bailey but the IBF could have let Berto defend the title once against a high profile opponent like Ortiz.Comment

As a Slovene-American I want to see Zavec get a shot at regaining his title. DiBella and Berto promised Zavec a rematch, but we all know this **** isn't going down unless it was in the contract (wasn't). Zavec should fight Oklahoma's Carson Jones in his comeback fight and try to move his way up the rankings.
It will be really interesting to see how this unfolds. Jones is ranked by both the IBF (#3) and WBA(#2), as well as the #1 contender for the WBA belt too, but no way that fight happens. Bailey is a much easier opponent than Senchenko or Pacman, let's see what Bob Arum does here.Comment

It's sad that Berto has done so little in his run, that ppl are applauding him for not taking a ****ty fight against a washed up fighter. Also, he should be happy to have a fight against Ortiz, if anything he should be fortunate to get the chance. Ortiz doesn't need Berto's business.
I like the way Berto came out(style wise) against his last 2 opponents. Showed a lot of heart/balls. However lauding praise at a guy who wasn't going to get paid unless he fought Ortiz? That's unnecessary.Comment
