Bailey... poor man.. stepped down so he could face the winner and Berto spits in his face. Bet it's to face Ortiz...no doubt there. Hopefully Bailey gets his shot as the IBF mando.. probably against Kell Brook I bet since Senchenko already got his 1 year mando for next year.Comment

wtf canelo didnt fight his mandatory in rhodes?why does it suck? At least the IBF actually enforces mandatories unlike the WBC or WBA who say "ah **** the rules, we'll have Canelo & Chavez jr fight 20 bums before they have to fight a mandatory."
I'm not saying the IBF is perfect but again, they enforce their rules and are usually clear about it. Plus they don't have "super champions" and "silver champions" or four belts for one weight class.Comment

its an option, he'll get money for it rite? and he'll likely keep his belt too and wait for bigger fights to come along. its only a matter of time before the ww division blows up. that definitely would have been the safer route.
another loss to ortiz like last time would make him look real suspect. esp considering how ortiz got handled by floyd. its a high risk/high reward bet. u mjight be too young to appreciate that but berto isnt playing it safe by any means. he must have real confidence in his ability to win.Comment
