The thread has nothing to do with whats more valuable, but how Floyd conducted himself. But to answer your question I'd say their self respect is more important. How does Floyd know they even want him to pay? If they can't pay themselves do they need to suffer the indignity and embarrassment of Floyd flaunting his wealth? I said it before and I'll say it again....if Floyd wants to pay than that is fine. But it should be a private matter between him and the family. Announcing it like a big shot is a low move any way you slice it. This was never about him paying, but the crude way in which he tries to get credit for a good deed.
