One of the many reasons why Floyd is disliked by many

I've disliked Mayweather since his "slave wages" comments and accusations the the HBO broadcast team were racist. Since that time he has done many things for me to confirm that dislike and now he's topped it off with a cherry. I the wake of Joe Frazier's passing Floyd couldn't just say some kind words and leave his condolences, he had to try and interject himself into the limelight by saying "My condolences go out to the family of the late great Joe Frazier. The Money team will pay for his funeral." What kind off jerk off does this? If you want to do a good deed than do it. Don't announce it hoping to get some recognition when the hour is squarely about Frazier and his family. This kid has no class whatsoever.

He did the same thing, announcing it to the world, when Genaro Hernandez died though, so I'm not as harsh about it. This is just the way he is, so I appreciate the gesture more than criticize the public way he said it. I do have a problem with saying "the Money team" but that's about it.

I'm no mayweather fan but he's done good here. Even if he goes blathering about it it still doesn't change the fact that it was a good deed. there's plenty of things to slag him about but this isn't one of them tbh.

I agree, we look at the gesture but with the way he tell the world, the motive of generosity is tainted.

He could of worded it better but this is a good thing of him to do whether he's doing it too put himself out there in the limelight or not, Mr. Frazier will get a great funeral service now worthy of him as Chicanito did thanks to Mayweather.

I'm sure Frazier's family are happy with this as well, less money out their pocket in hard times and I'm sure a great service will help ease it somewhat.

The exact words are: The Money Team will pay for his funeral services.

I do agree though that if he is gonna do that, he should have kept it private.

Have you seen his Twitter page? He now has Frazier as his profile picture.

This is what Amir said, btw:

R.I.P. Smokin' Joe.... A real ring legend. He will be missed.

All I am saying is the good deed is tainted by his words. Not hating, just saying.

Maybe he should have put more thought into how he was gonna approach this situation but I don't understand how this was a publicity stunt. Every time Floyd does a good deed there always seems to be some weird conspiracy as to why he did it. Floyd has his issues but I don't believe there was a hidden motive behind this.

His approach to certain situations outside the ring has never been good, so this shouldn't be unexpected from Floyd. That's pretty much how he is and it's time we got used to it. In the end it's still a great thing he did man.
