You know he would've **** that great fight. Now you look back at the Ishida-Kirkland fight and you know that Kirkland could have continued that fight, Cortez had to literaly push Kirkland so he wouldn't get up.
Cortez would have stopped the Kirkland-Angulo fight in the 1st round

Kirkland went down three times and looked helpless against Ishida. Completely different scenario.Comment

Agreed. Cortez is quick to jump in and stop a fight. He most likely would have stopped this fight it in the 1st.
In my opinion I know he's protecting the boxers, but he does get to involved way to much.
Image if he was part of Corrales/ Castillo 1 it would have never been a classic.Comment

Honestly, if this fight had been in the states, the fight would have been stopped and Kirkland would have won by 1st rounds TKO.
**** if it had been Kirkland that had as much trouble getting up and actually standing as Angulo did they would have stopped the fight right there, they were just giving Angulo as best a shot a coming back into the fight as they could have.
Angulo threw 1 accurate punch the whole fight and it dropped Kirkland, after that he was swinging wildly.Comment
