I think this would be a great next fight for both fighters. I don't know why everyone's trash-talking Lara on here -- just after his fight with Paul Williams, everyone here was bigging him up as a serious contender at LMW. Seems like people already forgot.

You're assuming (wrongly) that Canelo will ever give Kirkland a shot. And you're also assuming (wrongly) that any other top fighter will want to step up to Kirkland. (Molina is the exception)
