The difference is Ward is fighting in the Super Six final and not feasting on the Jesse Brinkleys and Brian Magees of the world.

Good thing Bute fought Glen Johnson otherwise his resume would be pretty lame.

Yeah, Ward fighting ATG Allan Green, a guy Bute already beat in Bika and a blown up Abraham is a great resume. Seriously, Ward was in the S6 for the last 2 years and his only good win is Kessler.

How about if he just fights an elite opponent who isn't over 40? I'll settle for that.

Bute's level of competition is the main reason for any hate he gets.

Not really all his fault though considering most of the top super middleweights were in a tournament that he should of been in.

He does have some solid wins like Bika, Andrade and now Johnson. Hopefully he can continue to step it up from here on out and face the better fighters at 168.

How can you rate him the best fighter based on his competition ? Johnson is his best win for god sake.

That doesn't give enough credit to Ward and even Froch for that matter who both have better wins on their resumes than Bute.

Bute is a very good fighter, and I was high on him ever since his dominant win over Bika.

Ward and Froch are rated above him based on their level of competition. But Bute is certainly up there with them in terms of talent. I cant wait to see Bute vs Froch or Ward.

I have a feeling that Froch vs Bute would be one excellent fight.

I was really dissapointed when Bute-Kessler wasnt made.

Glen has never been down in nearly 70 fights, pretty high expectations to think Bute would ko him.
