I agree entirely, some of these guys are so painfully obvious with the hate that it's not even funny, it's actually sad & embarassing. I have never hated any fighter because of color, but I did hate Floyd just for being him, then loved Manny for being the anti Floyd, but then realised he does the same thing (& worse) but gets away with it. But i've chnaged tune on that cause it was staring me right in the face.

How many of those guys that won't give Kirkland his props were ok with Bute beating Andrade in the 1st fight with doses of help from the refs, though, how many? Only to feel justified when he starched Andrade in the 2nd fight. But the 2nd fight does not erase what happened in the 1st.

Just watched the fight. All i saw was a one dimensional brawler blow his load in the first round and not recover.

Kirkland's lack of defence and punch resistance will stop him from ever being a top contender.

Beating Angulo HAS made him a top contender. Angulo is arguably the second best fighter in the division. As for TS, no one is hyping Kirkland up, he's the same old guy with the same mindset and skills. Truth is 154 really isn't murderers row, it's a rather weak division. James is good enough to be the best fighter in that division after Miguel leaves. That isn't hyping, that's just the honest truth. Don't think anyone is saying he can beat Martinez at 160.

yo MEDVED and LATINKING! I didn't say Kirkland is some kind of unstoppable beast! I just said I was impressed with him beating Angulo. . . Even if the win was completely due to angulo punching himself out, the fact he was able to WEATHER those punches, and come back and stop him really says something about his stamina and PUNCH RESISTANCE (not chin, there is a difference). . . Heart, stamina, will, speed, and power. . . I do think he has good speed. . . not great, but good. . . I ALSO SAID that I think lara schools him, as well as any other skilled boxer/puncher with a good punch.

Still gotta give him his props, though!

KIRKLAND SUCKS. He got owned in the first round and dropped by the first big shot, the only reason Angulo lost was because he blew his load and KO'd himself, Kirkland didnt do crap, the Ref shouldve stopped the fight in first round. in a rematch Angulo will KO Kirkland in Rd #1 or #2.

Its good to look good against someone who blew his load and is at 5% of his best, while Kirkland got his clock cleaned out and was just getting into the fight

Im torn. when he fights a capable boxer who can **** a little hell lose. His opponents have to be game for a brutal war though and guys like canelo and lara havent shown me that.

Id like to see him fight williams or molina.

i love to see a rematch.........but in topic, i dont think that much of chin-less Kirkland, good win last night, but he has 0 defense, i mean 0....is a ko waiting to happen (again).......

a side note, a shame to use "the race card"......if you dont like 1 fighter it doesnt mean youre racist.......
