    Stop hyping Kirkland up

I enjoy watching his fights but the dude makes the same mistakes he made in his last fights. His defense is still horrendous and he WILL get knocked out AGAIN by a top tier puncher. If some unknown jap laid him out imagine what those on top of his division would do.

You'd think that Anne would have told him to keep his hands up by now smh

Prepare to have the Gaylanders on you in a few seconds. They know the Ann Wolfe posse is weak. Angulo tired himself out and was still connecting with sluggish slow punches. He had a bad training camp.

While I agree 100% with TS in that he still has ZERO defense and literally no head movement whatsoever, I was impressed with him beating Angulo. . . Angulo is a tough, tough, bad, bad, dangerous man. . . He might never be the same again. . .

I think a guy like Lara beats him down, and probably stops him or knocks him ******ed one. . .

Only people at 154 who will want to fight him are probably paul williams and lara. . . i just don't see canelo getting put in with him anytime soon. . .

          Really? Really? da ****?

KIRKLAND SUCKS. He got owned in the first round and dropped by the first big shot, the only reason Angulo lost was because he blew his load and KO'd himself, Kirkland didnt do crap, the Ref shouldve stopped the fight in first round. in a rematch Angulo will KO Kirkland in Rd #1 or #2.

Its good to look good against someone who blew his load and is at 5% of his best, while Kirkland got his clock cleaned out and was just getting into the fight

I don't think he needs to be hyped up. What he has done speaks for itself. I have been watching Kirkland ever since he first starting fighting on HBO. Before the gun case [the same kind of gun case I had. U.S.C. 922(g)(1)], I expected him to do big things at 154. He demolished fighters like Julio and Vera, both of whom are punchers.
He's something like JuanMa Lopez. Very powerful, but very vulnerable. That's what makes him exciting to watch. He can hit the canvass the same way his opponent can. There's no need for anyone to hype him up. His victory does that for him. This was the WBC's ranked #1 fighter that he just took apart. They both showed heart and it was a treat to watch.
You, my friend, are a hater. You see that someone has done something to create a buzz, and you want to try to spoil it. There are plenty of other fighters out there who are overhyped. One of them fought last night and his name is Kid Choc. He's a hype job.

Look at the replay again. You'll see some traces of defense from Kirkland. He needs to better employ some defense. He need not be taking big shots all the time. One of those big shots will render him unable to get up.

He still has the same flaws but at least now we know he got a lot of heart and determination. His punches are sharper and more accurate as well.
