Why the hell are ppl putting so much stock into Kirkland? i thought the fight was disappointing! yes Kirkland won, but he needs to credit that to Angulo who straightup punched hisself completely out!! Angulo had that fight in the bag regardless if it was in the 1st round or not.. Kirkland yes got up and survived. but he didnt beat Angulo at his best. he beat a tired punching bag that couldnt move that much.. I want to see a rematch.. Kirkland doesnt have a chin..

you have to remember first of all cotto doesn't have stamina as kirkland, he can't fight going backwards, he doesn't have the chin to take punches come on he got dropped by a midget. both angulo or kirkland would knock his ass out angulo and kirkland are the type of fighters cotto needs to stay away from. Margarito will again put an ass whooping to him if he still has anything left over from the pac/mosley beatings

You might be right about Margarito winning but Cotto being unable to fight backwards!? Cotto is excellent at jabbing and moving. Have you seen any of his fights aside from Pacquiao and Margs? I agree that Cotto needs to stay away from Kirkland and Angulo but come on now let's not make things up.

I'm not dissing Angulo at all. My point is that people say Angulo is some Elite fighter when in reality he just aint. He's a good fighter but not a guy who is fighting at the Elite level.

I think Angulo beats Canelo if they fight in the next year...after that I think Canelo at that time would be more complete

yeah i think alvarez just needs to step up and if he loses at least he got that out of the way. it won't be like his career is over after one loss. you have guys like molina and lara who deserve big fights but then have these undefeated names like alvarez and martirosyan who are hesitant to do them. i really hope alvarez takes that step up after cintron. like i said before, this division is loaded with great potential matchups, i just hope they get made. one did tonight.

Yes cotto is good at jabbing and moving better boxer overall than kirkland, angulo, and margarito. but like I said he doesn't have stamina he can't do it for 12 rounds one point I said from him he doesn't have stamina. and fighting backwards?? come on man he can't go look at the clottey, judah, and specially mosley fight at the end and tell me where does cotto show that he can fight backwards? thats his weakness pressure fighters he needs to stay away from that
