Lets see how angulo copes with this loss...well in other news..I JUST BECAME A DAD TO A BEAUTIFUL BABY GIRL. I was bumed watching anngulo lose on my laptop in the hospital cafeteria but minutes later i got a call that my girl was going to get a c sectionn. An hour later i saw the most beautiful thing come into this world. I went from upset to being the happiest guy ever. Sleeping over the hospital today but tmrw i crack open some tecates to celeebrate. I wont lie. I had Angulo winning but i knew Kirkland's punching power would be his chance of winning.

Havnt seen the fight but sounds like Perro spent himself far too early. Cong**** to Kirkland. He's come back from a demolition at the hands of Ishida and put himself in the world title picture

On another note, I disagree with anyone saying Angulo punched himself out.

Angulo is a pressure fighter. Do people know what pressure fighters do? They provide pressure and throw a lot of punches (i.e Margarito).

How the heck can you be a so called pressure fighter then people say you punched yourself out as an excuse. If you look at the 1st round after the knockdown, Angulo didn't start slowing down until Kirkland landed those 2 big uppercuts and overhand rights when Kirkland was backed in the corner. It was all down hill after that. Not to mention, Kirkland was whooping Angulo's ass before the knockdown.

Angulo thought Kirkland was finished not realizing that he only landed a flash knockdown and Kirkland was more stunned than anything.
