That's what ho****e is supposed to mean, but I've volunteered at a ho****e for two years now and there are a large amount of people who are there for months and eventually can leave. We'll just have to see how it goes. Hoping Joe recovers, but also hoping he is happy and content if he can't make it.

I was under the impression that Ho****e usually meant < 6 months.

it does but it also applies for ppl who have terminal illnesses that have no hope of improvement but nonetheless will live for years possibly. but yea, its pretty much end of life care.

Thank you for everything Joe, you ****ing great great man.

Always reminded me of a real life super hero, gave his life to the sport, didn't deserve this, not yet, always had a smile on his face and looked like he had an eternity left, can only hope he goes peacefully.

            Thoughts go to his family.

That's what it's supposed to mean, I'm pretty sure a patient isn't allowed to be in a ho****e for more than a few months, but there are some I've seen that end up recovering enough to leave. More than a few last a long time. Some come back multiple times, which hopefully doesn't happen with Joe.

I always wanted to go meet Joe in person.

But I guess now that can never happen.

                      Godspeed Smokin' Joe.
