It just make you look like a chump when the ONLY fights you are looking for or guys at 154 or below, He should at least include one MW or Super Six guy on his list.

With international refs how could he be??

Martinez was the bigger fighter so much so that Williams asked for a catch weight in the rematch and after the rematch Williams went back to 154 while Martinez stayed at MW... Martinez should clean out his division Pirog or look for the Super Six guys... BTW he wants to fight Chavez and not Pirog because of resume well sorry to inform Sergio but Pirog's resume at MW is a LOT better than Chavez's....

Originally posted by ThePrince View PostActually, no he's not. He was offered double his career high payday ($3 million) to fight Pirog. Bute also offered him a fight at 164. Both would be lucrative options. Sturm also expressed interest in a fight.
The only reason he's in a 'bad spot' is because he has idiots managing and promoting him. He's fighting Macklin on St. Patty's day in MSG most likely. Just using names like Pacquiao, Mayweather, Chavez, Margarito, etc to keep his name in headlines.
Everyday he's 'negotiating' with someone new. 2 weeks ago he was 'negotiating' with both Manny and Floyd simultaneously. His manager said that both Manny and Floyd would do 2 million PPV buys and make more $ against Sergio than they would against each other, said this about each guy in 2 seperate interviews.
Just attention grabbing while getting ready for Macklin.

If people don't accept that Pac is a phony at JMW then it doesn't explain why its ok for Pac to fight Martinez at 147 while its a crime for Floyd to fight Martinez anything less than 154. Unless they admit to being biased. lol
It's ok people, everyone knows Pac is a phony. Hell he didn't even earn his ONE title at WW without a CW.... Pac was The Garbage Man at WW, taking out the left over garbage. Some of that stinky old **** was Floyd's left over garbage.
"WHEN" Pac stepped in the ring, he was paid to take out the left over stinky garbage.
I threw my printer out the other day, at one point it was a fast printer that actually printed amazing pictures.... It got old and it busted, I had a great time going "OFFICE SPACE" on it... it was exciting. I felt like Pac beating that old POS printer up before throwing it away.

That 5 out of the top 6 middleweights according to ring magazine. The #4 guy barely got in the list a month ago. Pirog is #7, and you know the story. He beat Paul Williams already who's currently #8. There's Hassan N'Dam N'Jikam at#9 , but there's no reason for anyone to expect Martinez to fight this guy. Then there's Rubio #10 , who Martinez said he'd be willing to fight for the vacant WBC belt.
