Why would amateur boxers get talked too that way ?, they aren't getting paid millions for a fight and they're not in the media being loud mouthed and arrogant.

People do respect what he can do in the ring, if you can't see his talent you're blind, people just don't like the way he carries himself.

I think a lot of the posters here have an idea of why Floyd receives so much hate. First off, he's a successful man who boasts about his accomplishments. Most people in our society are upset with their living situations so to see a man who is ten times more successful in life than they are and who brags about his achievements serves to be a constant reminder to these people of what they don't have. This, alongside the fact that he's a black man in America is what drives the hate. To see a man of color who's loud, arrogant, and successful makes some people very uncomfortable. So they will never be satisfied until this man is "humbled" aka gets beat up.

This whole argument about him ducking fights is nonsense. What these people are really upset about is the fact that Floyd hasn't gotten in the ring with someone who's better than he is. Sorry to say, there is no one better than he is.
