Why werent the Pac haters complaining about Margarito or Clottey when they both had around a 15lb weight advantage on Pac? Where were the cries for injustice there?

Obviously but this is irrelevant as one guy is closer to 30 the other guy is closer to 40.

After the JMM fight Pacs last two opponents will have a combined age of 78.

I’m not a Pac fan or hater but I complained about both fights, both fighters coming off recent losses and in the case of the Marg fight fighting for a vacant 154lbs belt at a 150 catch weight despite not even being ranked at that weight coming back from a ban and looking like **** against a nobody on his return.

People are just saying this "mismatch" nonsense before the fight, so if it turns out to be another modern boxing classic (which i think it probably will), they can discredit Manny. . . HOW can you be a SMALL LIGHTWEIGHT when you rehydrate to 150 pounds?! LOL, that's NOT a small lightweight. . . Marquez has to cut a considerable amount to make lightweight. . . I just can't WAIT till fight night to laugh at all you non-boxing knowledge having fools. . .

marquez still won't get the respect he deserves if he takes Manny to the edge and back. . . Rather, people will just say "see! look how overrated manny is!". . .
          It's PATHETIC and DISGUSTING. . . disrespectful to marquez. . .

What is more of an indication of how this fight will turn out? Their first two fights? Or Marquez's ONE performance at 144 against a COMPLETELY DIFFERENT style, who is the best defensive fighter of our era?! I'm going for the former. . .

And who the hell said "marquez barely got by katsidis"?! He straight SCHOOLED Katsidis, and was NOT bullied on the inside at all! He got KD'd once, but even right after that KD, he got back up to almost stop Katsidis that round. . . That fight right there showed that Marquez is not some "small lightweight". . .

You mean the Margarito that was banned from boxing for a year and then came back to have one fight at light-middle weight against the mighty Roberto Garcia? Common man, we're talking about a fighter who has been nothing more than punching bag his whole career, a fighter with lead feet. They fought at a catchw-weight for a vacant tittle that neither fighter even deserved.

At least the Clottey fight was a real fight but who are you trying to kid, who the fuck is Clottey?

I didnt give Floyd any credit for beating a 36 year old lightweight ranked no2 P4P after comming back from a near 2 year layoff.

Why would i give Pac credit for beating a 38 year old lightweight?

and Marquez has NOT been on the slide! he's been IMPROVING and getting stronger IMO. . . pacquiao has taken more damage than marquez has since their last fight!

pacquiao got hit by margarito about the same amoutn of times marquez got hit by katsidis. . . I think margarito might hit a little bit harder! and juan diaz? LOL pillow fists! The second fight Marquez didn't get hit at all by him. . . And Mayweather? WITH HIS PUNY FLYSWATS?! COULDN"T COME CLOSE to stopping marquez!

There is really no point debating this you have a clear agenda, history will not look back kindly on this fight it will not be regarded as a classic and it will most defiantly not be remembered as 2 prime fighters entering the ring.

Bob Arum must be pissing himself laughing at how gullible some fans are.

I suggest you go watch the katsidis fight again and pay closer attention to how Marquez's legs were ready to buckle at points in the fight. The fight showed that Marquez isn't what he once was, he's a fighter whose physical tools are on the decline, a younger Marquez would have picked that punching bag apart easily with his technical mastery.

Now you're expecting him to pack on some welter-weight muscle and get better at age 38?
