Normally Marquez cuts about 20 pounds to make lightweight, as he rehydrates to 148-150 pounds. Usually a fighter rehydrates to about 5-7 pounds less than what they "walk around at"
When marquez and pac fought the first two times, they both rehydrated to the same weight on fight night. . .
THIS TIME, however, neither fighter will have to cut weight, and they will both walk in the ring weighing the same. . . It's perfect, because NEITHER has to worry about stamina issues. . . we TRULY get to see TWO GUYS THE EXACT SAME SIZE GO AT IT! No bull**** where one fighter is "drained" and the other fighter has a huge advantage from rehydration like chavez jr. had over zbik, etc.

Marquez always comes to fight, and age/weight not being an issue he will always be a problem stylistically for Pacquiao.
But let's all be real for second, there is a reason why Pacquiao & his team wanted no part of this fight three years ago, and why this fight is being fought at a weightclass Marquez hasn't been able to compete at.
3 years ago at jww, this fight would have been a hell of a war and a toss up in my opinion. Now there are to many variables and the scales have tipped in Pac's favor, which is the only real reason this fight is being made.

I was asking for specific reasons/things that you saw on his last fights(diaz, katsidis) and compare it to his performance against Chris John, Pac and Barrera to start. I can easily say that Hopkins was older that JMM and been to grueling 12 round wars before he fought Pavlik and Pascal to counter your argument.
