I personally don't think there was any problem with the sucker punch, it was all the ref's fault. There WAS a problem however with how floyd held Gatti's head down and then kept hitting him which LED to Gatti complaining in the first place

For sure that's what lead to it. But those sort of things happen in a fight. You don't drop your hands and complain to the referee in the middle of the fight. Save it for after the bell.

I've never wanted anything to happen in boxing, as badly as I wanted Gatti to get at Mayweather in that fight. But that was just dumb of him.
