casual fans don't care about them fights.

they see one disappointing fight on ppv and say boxing is dead

This is why MMA is gaining lots of momentum. The best are fighting the best and most of the fights are entertaining with a good undercard. Something boxing is lacking more and more(apart from GB making decent undercards).
