The only fights on there which had the makings of a competitive fight and great mash-up of styles were...none.

Bradley-Alexander was significant for the 140 weight class. But there wan't any hype because both fighters don't have amazing styles.

Pacquiao-Mosley- Pacquiao Mosley had SOME chance of being an action fight, but there was hardly any hype or significance because of Mosley's last performances. Even with Mosley's low standards, he underdelivered. What a pathetic effort...

Klitschko-Haye- historically significant, massively hyped. Klitschko's style would bring the action grade down a little. Nevertheless, this was the closest to a superfight we got this year. It was actually a fight everyone wanted to see besides Pacquiao/Mayweather...and it didn't live up to the hype unfortunately.

Mayweather-Ortiz- When Floyd fights, it's an event. No exception here. Ortiz was young, fresh, determined, but ultimately lacked mental focus. Had the fight ended under different circumstances, it would've been a better fight. No real significance in this fight besides Mayweather returning and it's not like Ortiz was expected to do much to frustrate Mayweather anyway.

Hopkins-Dawson- significant because of both fighters were up in there in the rankings. However, the style match-up meant a particularly boring fight. On top of that, the result...ugh.

Donaire-Narvaez- not all that significant. Style match-up so-so. Result? Drab.

                    Klitschko-Solis- mishaps...

Wow...that's three fights with strange endings this year. May/Ortiz, Dawson/Hopkins, Klit/Solis...
