Haha, glad to see that there are still Gayevid lovers still lurking about. How is you hero's gay **** acting career going?

All of UK hates Gayevid, I bet he is one of the few UK boxers who actually LOST fans after his retirement. That's what he gets for being a phony, a liar, and a coward.

"I am now finishing my sports career," Klitschko told Ukraine's TVi television on Thursday. "I will have one more fight, maybe two at most." The 40-year-old champion, who plans to go full time into politics, added "Wladimir is five years younger and you will continue to enjoy his fights for a long time."

Vitali Klitschko (43-2, 40 KOs) began campaigning for mayor of Kiev shortly after his retirement in 2005. He lost the 2006 mayoral election to Leonid Chernovetskyi but placed second with 26% of the vote, ahead of the incumbent Oleksandr Omelchenko. Klitschko campaigned on an anti-corruption platform associated with Pora party. Analysts stated his relatively late entry into the campaign might have cost him votes. Still, he was elected as a people's deputy to the Kiev City Council.

In the May 2008 Kiev local election he ran again and won 18% of the vote. His party, Vitaliy Klychko Bloc, won 10.61% of the votes and 15 seats and again he was elected into the Kiev City Council.[30] His campaign hired Rudy Giuliani as a consultant for the campaign. In 2008 he was also appointed to the Ukrainian delegation of the Congress of the Council of Europe.

Vitali became the leader of the Ukrainian ********ic Alliance for Reform in April 2010. During the 2010 Ukrainian local elections the party won representatives in (Ukrainian) municipalities and Oblast Councils (regional parliaments).

FightSaga rates Vitali Klitschko as the world's best heavyweight and No. 3 on its pound-for-pound list. At 40, Klitschko may very well be in his prime as his performances have gotten better and better against top-tier talent in the last two years.

Klitschko is the current WBC heavyweight champion and is the first professional boxing world champion to hold a Ph.D.

The elder Klitschko is known for his punching power and durability. With an 88% knockouts-to-fights ratio, he has the highest knockout-to-fight ratio of any champion in heavyweight boxing history. He has never been knocked down in any professional boxing bout, and has also never lost a decision. His two losses have come via a shoulder injury during a fight and a deep cut above his eye, which resulted in TKO losses. His power and his possession of a Ph.D has led to his nickname, Dr. Ironfist.

Klitschko's younger brother, Wladimir Klitschko, is the current WBA Super, IBF, WBO, IBO and Ring Magazine world heavyweight champion.

Its possible that, even given his fine credentials, Vitali will retire without having defeated a true heavyweight superstar.

All documented! Lewis was the one with a 10 day notice and a fat paycheck by HBO to do the fight! Lewis would have gotten to Vitali as he was doing before the (black doctor stopped it) lewis was in a 8 week camp preparing for someone slower and smaller, then comes a more fit taller better fighter on 10 days notice. I am a vitali fan, but something caused those cuts, Lewis is a top 10 all time heavyweight unified champion who fought everyone from his era except for Rid**** Bowe / George Foreman / Ike Ibeabuchi - Rid**** was scared, Ike went to jail, Foreman steered clear because of his advanced age - Lewis has one of the best ring IQ's there is - there was a segment where he and chris eubank where giving instructions to fighters on a hands on basis, and lenox had to correct chris eubank on the advise he was giving hi pupil (imagine that a hall of famer correcting a former world champ)
johnson tore his pectoral muscle & then vitali stepped in....johnson ballooned up while recovering & never got back in good shape when he fought vitali. kirk johnson was 260 for the vitali fight & normally kirk was 230-240. vitali had a decent career but never got that signature win but he was dominant so that says something. i hope he fights helenius & james toney to end his career. toney just for the entertainment value...he gives up a foot in height

I'm interested in this Amir Mansour for no other reason than the human element.

                Throw him in with Vitali.

James Toney will be out of the equation for good after he loses to Lebedev.

Vitali is one of the most dominant heavyweights of all time, and his coming back after 3+ years off due to injury to regain his title and then not lose a round thereafter is something that will place him very high in the boxing history books. Only Ali and Sugar Ray Leonard among modern fighters were able to come back after that long off and win major titles.

But seriously, he's not done yet. His answer to this retirement question changes by the week, probably because he's BORED of hearing the question. Wouldn't anyone be?

It made my day when he finally announced his comeback fight against Sam Peter and it will **** up my day when he calls it quits for good. Oh well, nothing lasts forever. At least his legacy is secured. I have no idea who is worthy of the beating Vitali will dish out in his last fight, but I'd love a Solis rematch.
