Can't be bothered to debate with this clueless noob who just admitted to judging a fighter based on a few minutes of a fight.

The fact he also insults the people that disagree with him was a peach.

Have fun guys. Don't rip him too much.

The Dawson fight is not the only Hopkins' fight I've seen, but I've judged what I've seen in those first minutes. I know the regular Hopkins' fan tho: a guy with poor personality who's in awe of Hopkins' flamboyant style and takes all his dirty moves as miracles.

P.S. that Hopkins is a slow starter is plain bull****, having seen the fact that he often tries to catch his opponent cold in the first round, as he did against Calzaghe. And ended up losing, but Hopkins' fans still call it a win.
I'm hearing what you say dude. Probably get red K from the nuthuggers but **** it. He's **** to watch. I don't care if he 106 years old. Doesn't make him any more entertaining does it?

Cut it out, b1tch. I didn't say I judged Hopkins by that fight, I said I've seen many other Hopkins' fights. Next time read better the post you're about to answer to.

So I didn't judge Hopkins by that single fight. I didn't admit anything, you just imputed me words I didn't say to try and get out of this as a winner.

Basically, you're just trying to hide your shame for calling a "notorious slow starter" one who notoriously tries to catch his opponents cold. Is this cool enough as an answer, Hopkins lover?

Well said there, this is what I'm talking about.

Sorry if I don't answer all the desperate trolls but I've got a life too.

Hopkins is an ATG no doubt. However I do think he's overrated somewhat in terms of resume at middleweight but 20(?) defenses takes some doing no matter who your fighting. This is a genuine question (not hating) why did he never fight Winky, G-man, Toney, Mike McCallum during his reign at MW? His best wins at MW are Joppy, Trinidad and DLH and the latter too are really WW.

As I said, it's a matter of personality. Hopkins is a highly intelligent guy, no doubt about it, most respect to him as due to any multiple world champion anyway...

My topic here is that I'm not fed up with mr. Hopkins himself but with the blinded fans that call even his fouls as miracles.

man you really want to get to the top of hopkins fanboys hate list quick huh...lol

i've asked the same question a million times, and could never get a straight answer regarding how all of these guys can be in the same weight range in the 90's, yet hopkins doesn't have any of these fighters on his 90's resume...all i got was excuses...most recognizable win against a solid name opponent back then was simon brown, and even brown was a blown up welterweight who had seen better days...

hard for me to fathom hopkins having a 20 win defense run with the names mentioned, that he mysteriously sidestepped...
