      i know you're a troll and ****, but really
this is a boxing forum. you shouldn't even be here if you're going to disgrace the sport with ***** like that

prime joe louis might be the best fighter to ever lace up gloves.
he's up there with 60's ali
robinson at 147 knocking dudes out and taking punches better than any man alive
armstrong weighing about 135ish and taking on everybody under the sun for world championships from 26 to 47 and even 60 where he got a disputed draw
135 lb duran on his best night
      126 lb pre-crash willie pep
reportedly harry greb was on that level as well, but there's no film of the man fighting.

joe louis would knock wladimir out cold with a combination
real talk. probably within the first half of the fight. once he got his range figured out it would basically be over.

out cold and on the ground. if conscious at all, only slightly. i think the word is supine.

and i'm generally found around here defending wladimir and calling him a great fighter (which he is)

im not a troll. . . do i have fun by being humorous sometimes? yes. . . this is not one of those times, though. . .

Louis is an all time great. . . he holds the record for most title defenses at heavyweight. . . I think Wladimir will break that record. . . That's why I brought up Louis here. . . Do I think Wladimir deserves a higher ranking in history if he does? no. . . Do I think Wladimir deserves credit and to be mentioned along with Louis as one of the best Heavyweights? Yes. . . Do I think that Wladimir would absolutely OWN Joe Louis in a boxing match? Absolutely. . .

        -> 2mn30s

Mormeck is a huge fan of Tyson.

                wladimir has been stopped by
                lamon brewster
                corrie sanders
                and ross purrity

he was dropped many times and almost out against sam peter.

you see where i'm coming from?

joe louis is considered the best puncher of all time by ring magazine.

wladimir is chinny. just watch his fights.
he does not take risks so he doesnt sell out his huge body, certainly, but he also fights cautious because he's got a soft chin

emanuel steward is on the record saying his chin is not solid.

you dont see me saying louis would smash vitali so easily (though i think he beats him pretty easily via decision)

not only do i know more about louis than these guys i would venture a guess that i know more about wladimir than they do

like i said, i defend him all the time
i even pick him in fantasy fights. go check out the history section if you'd like

its not an old vs new thing

its a chinny HW vs the craftiest and deadliest puncher ever at HW thing.
he would find wladimir's chin and it would stay hit.
combinations coming in. wladimir doesnt do well against them.

                sorry, boyos

No he wouldn't. Don't be a Knee-Jerk reactionary when someone says that Wlad would beat a smaller Joe Louis, like some just dissed your mother.

It happens. There are people who have seen enough of Wlad at his best, dominating consistently, to have a legitimate basis on why they think Wlad would beat someone like Joe Louis.

Don't be butthurt because someone challenged the status-quo.

                    ^^^This.

I never initiate these conversations but if they're started, I'll respond and let it be known that I have a prime Wlad beating most of these smaller, Heavyweight greats. But you're right, there is no way of knowing.

That New England guy is totally delusional.

Joe Louis only fought bums ("bum of the month club"). He never fought anyone like Wlad.

Wlad would be too big, too strong, too fast, too athletic, too skilled, too smart and too powerful for the ridiculously overrated Louis.

                      Easy KO win for Wlad.
