What a ****** statement as he knows Sergiio can't get down that far...154 would be a struggle but he can/will? to fight the red head...I don't think Jr wants him....he had to use the cut hand from the ceiling fan to back out of the Hearns bout...

Seriously the guy WALKS AROUND at 146, you people make no ****ing sense. Name me fighters who ACTUALLY fight at their walking weight? Seriously. Any SERIOUS FAN of boxing knows the standard MO for boxers is to fight one division LOWER then their actual walk around weight.

Sergio Martinez KNOWS he isn't the PPV draw, Manny is. If you want that Big Money fight, then go after it. If not then leave it alone.

Good, they are too far apart. Why is anyone even talking about it?

He did say 147 but he also said they can negotiate a weight. 150 should be good as Martinez said he can go down to that weight.

Pacman is fighting at welter because he doesn't have to worry about dehydrating in making weight but compared to the weights of other fighters he's more comparable to most lightweights who blow up to around 145 at fight night.

At least i have heard Paq's side, He basically came out and says he doesnt want the fight which is cool, Now i want to hear what Mayweather has to say, Cotto already said he doesnt want the Martinez fight.

                  All about the money

I dont understand alot of these guys calling out PAc and Floyd just because they want the payday. All they have to do is stay busy and fight 3 times a year and they will make the same amount for the one fight vs Pac/Floyd.

Sergio is a good example. If he fought Pac he might get what 10 million? Well he just passed on a fight with pirog that would have got him 3 million. He couldve just whipped him at the end of this year. Fight 2 other mid level fighters next year and boom there you have it, hes at least at 9 million. Instead of sittin around like everyone else hoping to get a shot at Pac. Granted up to this point Sergio has done a pretty good job of stayin busy but don't fall off now tryin to get a fight with Pac. the line is too long

PS. Tim Bradley is doin the same thing

During last month's pre-fight promotion for his title defense against Darren Barker, Martinez said he was willing to "risk his health" by dropping all the way down to 150-pounds to fight Pacquiao.

Well team Martinez has said Sergio is a 147lbs 154lbs fighter and not a middleweight.

Was that just talk as well.

If Martinez is calling out Pacquiao than why is wrong for Pacquiao to say the fight can happen if Sergio can make the weight.

If Sergio can't make the weight then, move on some good fights for him at 154lb and 160lbs

Don't you guys get tired of the Manny and Mayweather BS? Look, Martinez shouldn't be calling out Manny and Mayweather because he is too big. That being said, Manny and Mayweather are full of it. These guys had no problem fighting at 150-154 against an old washed up Oscar De La Hoya and a cheat who was suspended for a year.
