  • Please, Pac wouldn't fight Sergio unless he agreed to tie his left arm behind his back and weigh no more than 147 on fight night.

          Why 150?

          Why no strong champions?
          Sergio requested 150 not floyd

Floyd Mayweather has said he won't give Manny Pacquiao a 50-50 split of the purse if they ever step into the ring.

Sergio Martinez, possibly the most intriguing Plan B if Mayweather-Pacquiao doesn't happen next, has said he's willing to accept far less money and fight at a weight Mayweather had previously suggested.

Martinez, widely considered the No. 3 pound-for-pound fighter in the world behind Mayweather and Pacquiao, improved to 49-2-2 with an 11th-round stoppage of Matthew Macklin last weekend.

He then declared he'd accept the low end of an 80-20 split against Mayweather and also would fight the Grand Rapids native at 150 pounds. (Martinez weighed in at 157.6 pounds before his fight against Macklin.)

"Look, I want him to get the big fight. I want him to get the pay-per-view fight," Lou DiBella, Martinez's promoter, said in an interview with FightHype.com. "We'll take 20 percent to fight Mayweather at 150. It's a fascinating fight and Mayweather could probably make a good portion of the money he would make fighting Pacquiao.

"And you and I know Pacquiao ain't fighting Mayweather."

Before his May 5 fight against Miguel Cotto was finalized, Mayweather told Yahoo! Sports' Kevin Iole that he'd fight Martinez at 150.

"If Sergio Martinez can make 150, let’s make the fight happen," Mayweather told Iole. "Like I said, there are no excuses. I’m a little different than other guys. He’s got a very, very impressive style."

Mayweather's fight plans after the Cotto fight remain unclear. He's slated to report to jail June 1 to serve his 87-day sentence stemming from his domestic violence dispute with Josie Harris.

          • At 147 with a rehydration clause of 150 with 10mil fine for every lb. over... I can see it.

150 is a catch weight. Why would Floyd fight him at a catch weight if they've both fought at 154?
floyd was asked a question and answered...manny ran the fuck away
