- QUESTION - Severity of Margarito's eye injury: Injury you can recover from a 100%?

I disagree completly with your post but the bold part is something you have yet to comprehend and what you need to understand is that the Pacquiao fight should have been stopped around the 8th round but for some reason that didn't happen.

If that happens in NYC during the Cotto fight that fight is getting stopped for sure.

The reason it didn't get stopped was because of what i said, Marg kept fighting his fight, kept protecting himself and kept throwing punches. It was obvious his eye was swollen and injured but it didn't effect him, and if the ref doesn't see the injury causing you serious problem he'll let it continue.

My point remains the same, If Pac couldn't stop Marg wih a broken eye socket I don't see Cotto having any more luck.

I think even Margarito knew that he's done. He's just cashing a few big checks, that's all.

First off I know he suffered a broken orbital/socket on his right eye. I don't know much if any at all about injuries and their severity and effects etc etc. So does someone with knowledge on the situation explain what exactly happened and I also want to know, is the injury he suffered something you can heal from a 100% or is it something that when touched again would be tender and fragile?

I mean I heard this thing was career threatening at one point.

I just want to know how big of a factor it'll play against Cotto. I mean.. I can't help but imagine that if you hit that part of his face it is bound to open up again or get tender or something.

before the fight , Margo's trainer-Robert Garcia complained to the Texas commission that he saw Team Pac place plaster of paris inserts in Pac;s wraps and wanted them re-wrapped, but the texas officials said no, the fight will go on, without Pac having to re-wrap, cause the fight is near.

thats why Margo drank tha t powdered sweetener on front of Roach, to counter mind games and try to have Pac re-wrap or have the fight called off.

and , to add insult to injury, the the fight was FIXED in Pac's favor, by DelaHoya (pac-s co-promoter behind the scenes), and Margo agreed to be a punching bag, so that he can get re-licensed and a $7 million payday.

But margo had no idea that he had to endure Pac's illegal loaded wraps , until 1-2 hours before the fight, when Robert caught them slipping it in Pac's wraps.

margo was screwed in that fight, cause he had to put up with:

1.) the fight was FIXED
2.) Pac had illegal loaded gloves
3.) Pac was on steroids, epo, hgh, a-side meth
