    The fact is, Mayweather sold over 1 million PPV's with Ortiz. Ortiz is a really good fighter, in his prime, coming off wins, but by no means is he a PPV star. If Mayweather-Ortiz sold 1.1 million PPV's, that's really great, considering Ortiz has never been a PPV star at all, not even close.

    People have to remember that only a handful of fighters have even sold over 1 million PPV's. Mayweather-Marquez sold 1 million PPV's and thatw as a tremendous success, especially since Marquez' fights with Pac only sold half a million or so. Oscar De La Hoya, the biggest PPV star of all-time so far, only sold over 1 million PPV's 4 times, and 2 of them were with Floyd and Manny.

    If Mayweather-Ortiz did the 1.1 million, than Floyd already has done over 1 million PPV's 4 times (De La Hoya, Marquez, Mosley, and Ortiz).

    1.1 million PPV's with Ortiz is really great.
    no bruh. what i was sayimg is the official numbers haven't been released.. so no one know "officially" but yes it did over a million buys just from floyd alone.. i was responding the the propaganda spreaders on here.. whp just post bull**** just to have something to say.. here is the article i read on the situation..

      I'm pretty sure Martinez was told to stay quiet. Remember when Ortiz said this exact same thing?

      May 2011: Ortiz: I don't know about any negotiations. Its all rumors.
      June 2011: Mayweather: I am returning on September 17th to fight Victor Ortiz

      See the pattern? I'm pretty sure that if Mayweather-Pacquiao doesn't get signed, this will.

        That does seem to be the pattern!!

        Also, it would seem that many are trying to up their marketability by making wild statements that they want either Pac or Floyd or that negotiations are in the works. {ie. Khan, Sergio etc...}

        Like someone stated in another thread "Boxing is becoming more & more of a three ring circus everyday" as if it really needed any additional effort on the boxer's part.

          Instead, he'll fight the quitter Ortiz...
          This is what happens when you make ignorant and bias statements. Khan who fights at 140 and admits himself that he's not ready for Floyd until late 2012 yet people say he's ducking Khan because Khan has been calling him out yet if Floyd say let's go next everyone is gonna say Oh he cherry picked Khan cause he knew he wasn't ready yet.As far as Manny I think Floyd is to blame just as much it is Manny is. You can't make someone take a blood test if they don't choose too but if you want that 50 million dollar payday you better suck it up and move on. As far as Sergio Floyd never came out and said he did or didn't want to fight the man. The way Sergio has been talking he doesn't seem to think Floyd would duck him and ususally a fighter who thinks a guys won't fight him will say that Sergio says the total oppsite. If Floyd fights Martinez anything above 154 its not gonna be a good look for Manny because Floyd is fighting stronger and bigger challenges then he is. Just my honest and unbias opinion.

            I figured it would be Ellerbe doing the whole 'negotiations never happened' bit, but looks like Sergio's people are on top of it

            Dubai, here we come (again)

                Which one is Lewkowicz, the sleazy guy with the beard and that fake ass chain that's always trying to be in the camera? After that last boring fight that Martinez put on, he deserves to keep fighting in AC against no-names. Chavez is a star and doesn't need SM nor does Floyd...

                  If Floyd is a duck, then why does Pacquiao consistently seek fights with the men that Floyd has just beaten? Doesn't that just mean that Pacquiao is a sewer rat that secretly desires to be a duck?
