why would he retire if nothing happened to him other than getting slammed. these shouldn't be the last images of a legend , so he should come back. and it would be a rematch if Dawson had at least 15 fans , but the man brings nothing to the table as far as promotion goes, he barely even speaks so no TV or radio stations wanted to talk with him. i know hes by nature a shy dude who lives in a shell , but u are trying to sell a $60 fight in a recession , act like u want it , make fans believe it's worth buying , u can't just be a fighter , u gotta be a business man as well.

if Chad had any morals he would vacate the belt , why wear something u really never earned ? and if there is a rematch it should be regular HBO, as a matter of fact i think Boxing needs to give fans an apology , they should make Pacquiao - Marquez III available on regular HBO as way of saying " sorry for the Mayweather and Hopkins fights " ... or give ppl that paid a fraction of their money back . this is robbery of the fans.

I'm disgusted by Boxing and I am a lifelong fan , i bleed this sport . how can they strip a living legend from his belt in that fashion , the Ref didn't even analyze the situation just made a decision that went against the rules and it was upheld , and it still hasn't been reversed , now it takes an " investigation " ... just look at the damn replay and give B hop his belt back .

Hopkins is one of the best of the last 20 years, but I'm with Dawson on this one. The most infuriating thing with BHop is he acts like some sort of gangster and roughs people up during a fight, but when things arent going his way, or his tricks arent getting the results he wants, and his opponent is better or not as mentally weak as he though, then first opportunity he gets he's screaming in agony and trying to get points deducted or something. Its sickening.

I love hopkins but he is just being ridiculous. How can he say Dawson didnt want to fight?

Hopkins may have been hurt but he could have gotten up and attempted to fight on. He was laying on the floor saying he could only fight with one arm... how did he know that he didnt attempt to throw a punch or anything.

He should have gotten up at least attempted to fight on and if it was really giving him that much of a problem then told the ref his shoulder was to messed up to continue fighting.

Hopkins had Dawson soooooo frustrated in less than 2 rounds that Dawson

lost his composure and mma'ed Hopkins to the ground because why he ducked under a lead right hand and Hopkins weight was over him????

BHop should retire and give boxing a favor........his fights are so boring, it's almost like a snoozefest. He keeps on holding and intimidates opponents who are shorter and smaller than him. In his fight against Tito, IMO if he just fought squarely and not hold so much he could have been KO'd. He just got a lot of tricks but this time against Chad it didn't work.
