won't say a waste of talent but unfullfilled talent.he could have been so much better but the 3 wars with holyfield really did him in. he was making huge coin every fight.the first holyfield fight he netted $14million not including PPV.he was a huge draw in the US but after the 3rd holyfield fight bowe was never the same.he was rich, wasnt an idiot with his money, & was once the world champion. he lost his edge & the golota fights helped him get out of boxing with a couple HBO 7 digit paydays...solid career but struck gold early so he was unmotivated by his early 30's....i can't say he was a waste of talent because that is so not the case. david haye is doing the same thing today after his title fight & payday vs wlad he could probably not get up for anything less then a rematch because i don't think he wants to fight vitali.Last edited by joe strong; 10-17-2011, 05:43 PM.Comment

In shape Rid**** gives anyone in history hell. He could've helped Lennox bridge teh gap between Holy and the brothas.
I think in the ring, he had more demensions than LL, but you cant make up for out of ring deficientcies with talent alone. If you dont remember, his life was as much of a trainwreck as anyones. He didnt have the drive to be great. He made it to the top for 1 fight and was content.Comment

Bowe was garbage. He was a dumb slow punching bag who couldn't even throw a straight punch. He was totally outclassed, exposed and destroyed twice by Andrew Golota. He blatantly ducked Lennox Lewis, who was dominated and retired by Vitali Klitschko.
Either Klitschko easily destroys Bowe.
