Lara should be calling out Bundrage, Baysangurov who have belts at JMW Dzinziruk when he isn't in training camp for a title defense (lol Lara is dumb) or WBO #1 Konecny.

I don't follow Lara that closely, but I definitely remember Erislandy specifically calling out Bundrage. (Here's one example: http://www.boxingscene.com/lara-shre...hopping--37642) I don't know about the other guys you mentioned. I can say, however, that Lara has been calling out seemingly everyone. He's obviously hungry for a big fight. The fact that no one seems to be taking his challenge is leading many to call Erislandy an "avoided fighter". I'd say there's plenty of evidence for that claim. It's probably got a lot to do with the notion that Lara is "too much risk, too little reward," in my opinion.

Good fight, I think I have Pirog by decision. I think Lara is risking alot with this fight. Both have styles that could cause each other problems tho. I'd say its about 50/50 on who can win. I just think Pirog will come out the winner fight night. I'd expect a chess match type fight, not really action because both fighters are chess player type boxers. They will look for weaknesses throughout the fight that they can take advantage of.

I think he can beat Lara too, but that fight is no gimme.

1) All three of you fail to note that one of the large criticisims of Martinez is that he's supposed to be the MW king yet is only willing to fight WW, JMW's, and sup par MW's like Barker or Lee. This is a jmw calling out a MW title holder. You saying that Lara is exactly who Pirog should be fighting says it all (a undersized JMW) no wonder you're such a huge Martinez supporter.

Lara has some balls. I'm not sure if he realizes he'll be set up for another robbery if he can actually outpoint the bigger Pirog. Only way of a guaranteed win is a KO and I don't see that happening. Great fight though, hopefully it happens.

Pavlik was a legit MW although a alcoholic and total mess of a person. He got **** kicked at 170 the one time he fought there.

Williams called out Hopkins at 170???? Dawson spoke of fighting at Hw i guess that means Pascal could compete and beat HW's? YEESSSSS. This is a great a fight. Lara is the #1 ducked fighter of the world. If Pirog beats him, he'll definitely be in a position to make a Martinez fight happen.

A guy who has 16 fights under him is the #1 ducked fighter in the world.. Lara is super overhyped, although I do think he beat Paul its not like he dominated him and now is top shlt. Stop with this Lara hype please.
